“My Purrfect Companion: The Enormous Fluffball Who Stands Tall as My Toddler’s Equal”

Yuliya Minina, a resident of Stary Oskol, Russia, is proud to own Kefir, her 3-year-old Maine Coon cat that she believes to be the largest feline in the world. Yuliya regularly shares photos and videos of Kefir’s impressive size on his TikTok page and her Instagram account. One particularly popular post shows Kefir standing on his hind legs, opening a door handle, and then relaxing in the grass like a giant caterpillar. He then takes over a reclining chair and scales a tree with ease. Fans of cats can’t resist commenting on the remarkable content. Kefir is one fearless feline who will climb any “meowntain”!

Kefir seems to have his sights set on becoming the biggest cat in the world, as evidenced by a recent Instagram post from user @yuliyamnn. The photo shows Kefir looking absolutely stunning!

A passionate supporter exclaimed with delight, “Amazing!” while another hailed Kefir’s intelligence. Minina posted a video on Instagram a year ago, where she was seen preparing food in the kitchen with Kefir, who was as tall as her 4-year-old child.

Meet Kefir, a majestic cat whose name was inspired by the delicious and creamy milk drink due to his striking resemblance in color. It is unclear how big Kefir is at present, but he made headlines in 2022 when he was just two years old and weighed an astonishing 28 pounds. This weight is significantly more than what a typical Maine Coon or a toddler weighs. Normally, male Maine Coons weigh around 18 pounds while females weigh approximately 12 pounds. These felines usually have a length of about three feet, including their tails.

In 2022, Minina expressed her surprise to SWNS about how Kefir, who appeared like an ordinary kitten, developed into a massive cat. She also stated that Maine Coons have the potential to grow for up to three to four years, implying that Kefir may not have reached his full size yet and could get even larger.

The individual who owns Kefir is deeply fond of seizing the charming moments of the pet and then broadcasting them on her social media handle. She often uploads photographs of her cuddly companion for her admirers to relish.

Kefir, the furry feline belonging to Minina, possesses a remarkable skill of standing on his hind legs and effortlessly reaching objects. This sweet cat often gets mistaken for a dog because of his playful disposition and gentle demeanor. Though Kefir may appear intimidating due to his size, he is a caring and modest pet that has grown to be both enormous and intelligent. Nonetheless, his size sometimes creates a discomfort for Minina during cat naps as he loves to climb on her and sleep at night. While this wasn’t a problem when he was a kitten, it has become burdensome for her to sleep in that manner now that he is massive and weighty.
